Description
On 9 July 2020, Royal Mail issued a set of stamps celebrating one of the UK’s greatest music legends on the 50th anniversary of the band’s formation. Queen have more than three decades of hits to their name, so it is no surprise that there is a Queen song for everyone. Remarkably, more time has now passed since their iconic frontman Freddie Mercury sadly died than the band spent with him, yet Queen remain as popular as ever.
Queen’s extraordinary live shows are as iconic as their music. This cover celebrates them with the Queen Live miniature sheet and the Wembley postmark (9 July 2020).
